Our Mission
Unity of Angels, Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting those that are homeless in our Lexington, Kentucky community.
We dedicate our time to restore and help the homeless acquire a substantial satisfaction/fulfillment from their life, we give them essential basic and secondary needs.
To empower them to reach their potential, have strong social-cultural and economic health, we give them the information they need to do and be good through our mentoring program, counseling and our inspired job creation.
From the fruition of our impact, we get the power to pursue the mission and welcome open heart volunteers and the generosity of our donors.
Meet Our Founder
Unity of Angels was founded back in September 2020 by a young lady name Angel Martin. Angel founded Unity of Angels understanding the true underlining issues that homeless individuals face on a day to day basis and how they got into their situation in the first place. She seen that there was a need to for certain strategies to be set in place to help alleviate homelessness and destitution as she too was once without a place to call her own. She understands that the most important issues are those which you can not see with the naked eye. That is when she decided to incorporate a nonprofit to help those that are homeless and unsheltered gain their wings of independence and release their true struggles.
Our History
Before becoming Unity of Angels Angel Martin gathered a team of compassionate and understanding individuals a whole year prior to begin serving those unsheltered with clothes and food. She would continue this every Wednesday never missing a beat regardless of rain, sleet or snow. Seeing a need for energetic and passionate nonprofit work in Lexington, Kentucky, Angel Martin formed our organization to provide sensible solutions for those homeless and unsheltered. Since, then we have consistently grown, all thanks to the helping hands of our amazing community, donors from all over and our dedicated volunteers for their generous support!
